AMRDEC SEDMFOQA Training and Fielding Lead
Summary
The Training and Fielding Lead is assigned to US Research And Development Engineering Command (RDECOM) Aviation and
Missile Research Engineering Center (AMRDEC) Software Engineering Directorate (SED) at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Al.The successful candidate will provide full-time on-site support
and will be engaged in Army Aviation processes in a multi-functional environment.
Job Description:
As the ‘face to the Aviation Community’, the candidate for this position will lead the
training and fielding support for the US Army Aviation’s Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA) system, and other automated aviation logistics and support projects. The goal of the
MFOQA system is to increase aviation safety by focusing on the areas of Maintenance, Operations,
Safety and Training. The selected candidate will also be responsible for the development of training materials
and training plans. Candidate may also function as a member of the system/software test team while the
MFOQA system is being developed. The candidate will act as the primary onsite technical contact in an Army
Aviation Battalion providing customer visibility, and will lead a team that will provide MFOQA system training, installation
and checkout, operation and maintenance support, advanced technical troubleshooting support and problem resolution for the
customer.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
or equivalent and 20+ years of general experience.
Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Army Aviation/Pilot experience is required. Candidate
must have experience developing training materials and training plans. Candidate must have exceptional
customer service skills, outstanding communication and technical writing skills, and sufficient technical depth to communicate
hardware and software issues to the product development team.
- Must have the ability to work independently and be willing to travel and remain on-site at the selected stateside fielding
location for a period of up to six (6) months.
- Must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
Possession of an INTERIM SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; Ability to maintain a SECRET security
clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to successfully
complete Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education, Employment, Credit and Driving Records Checks
for continued employment
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience
fielding and/or training Army systems or software is desired.
