As a member of our Logistics Engineering team, you’ll be charged with bridging the gap between Army Aviation and Missile systems design and sustainment in accordance with the 12 Product Support Elements (PSE) for lifecycle sustainment planning.

You’ll use your interpersonal skills to develop lasting relationships with internal Product Managers and AMRDEC personnel as well as external organizations and stakeholders.

You will perform Baseline Comparison Analysis, Business Case Analysis (BCA), perform development/sustainment assessments, and identify technology opportunities, using your engineering expertise for Army Missile and/or Aviation problems.

Mid SQL Developmental Database Architect/DBA - US Citizenship Required

As a member of our software team, you'll be charged with performing architecture development for a SQL database to enhance Army Aviation maintenance and logistics operations.

You'll use your interpersonal skills to develop lasting relationships with AMRDEC personnel as well as external organizations and stakeholders.

You will perform as part of a government/industry software team to design and develop software applications, conduct analysis, interpret and analyze requirements obtained/derived from customer; review, verify and/or validate system specifications and other design-related documentation.

Responsibilities/Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated database development/architecture experience
  • Demonstrated multi-database synchronization experience and SSIS development
  • C# Programming & Experience with .NET Framework and Visual Studio IDE, DAL and ORM development
  • Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Work closely with the Software Development team to provide workable normalized schemas and stored procedures
  • Unified Modeling Language (UML) Diagrams
  • Create requirements specifications, design documentation and other technical documentation
  • Experience creating data warehouses
  • Experience working with enterprise level systems using SQL Server
  • Demonstrated knowledge of good relational database development practices
  • Perform analysis, design and development according to existing coding standards and guidelines.
  • Candidate will interpret and analyze requirements obtained/derived from customer; review, verify and/or validate system specifications and other design-related documentation.

Desired Skills:

  • Database development with Scrum/Agile development methodology

The candidate will be working in support of a software development team that is designing and developing software applications that will enhance Army aviation activities. Main duties will include, planning, designing, developing, and testing a web application that will collect metrics in support of numerous projects across the Software Development Divisions portfolios of projects. The candidate will design and code websites, web applications, and web services while striving to create visually appealing sites and applications that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. Upon completion, the candidate will continue to provide application sustainment support as well as metrics collection support.

Required Skills:

  • 2-5 years of experience with both C# and web development
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript and SQL programming
  • Development experience with a full-stack, server-side web application framework using the MVC pattern (ASP.NET)
  • Experience writing SQL queries for storing data in SQL databases
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3, and PHP standards
  • Experience developing client-side scripts in jQuery
  • Grasp of UI, Web User Interface Design (UI), cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards

AVNIK is seeking a Mid/Senior level highly motivated, creative, and organized Computer Science (CS) programmer with a focus on immersive technologies and related gaming experience in software development for systems optimization, data reuse, and sustainment. 

The successful candidate will turn customer requirements into code in a fast moving environment. You will be involved in various aspects of game creations from concept to finished product including coding, programming, human-machine interface (with several different peripherals), audio and design.  Ability to work within a team is crucial.

Candidates must clearly express ideas/concepts verbally and in writing, perform as part of multi-disciplinary teams/IPTs/Working Groups, and operate fluidly in a multi-tasking environment.  Ability to work under strict time frames to meet both internal and external deadlines and customer expectations. Must be able to manage own work and be able to balance multiple tasks and adapt quickly to new processes.

AMCOM G3 Aviation CBM+ Training and Logistics Management Specialist

Overview: 

AVNIK Defense Solutions, Inc., is a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), located in Huntsville, AL, who delivers systems engineering and integration, software/hardware development, logistics management, programmatic services, training systems management, and test and evaluation support for the development, modification, fielding and sustainment of military equipment and systems.  We have an immediate requirement for an Army Aviation Logistics/Training Development and Management Specialist.

Summary:

The Army Aviation Logistics/Training Development and Management Specialist serves as a support contractor to plan, develop, and execute Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) training in support of the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) G3 Maintenance (M) and the Continued Airworthiness and Materiel Readiness Division (CAMRD).  Coordinates and develops CBM and CBM+ training and manages training integration, schedule, and performance metrics to ensure US Army Aviation CBM+ is properly trained, resourced, integrated, tested, and sustained.  Supports programmatic requirements for technical and logistics development, planning, coordination, integration, testing, and monitoring of CBM Systems to reduce Solider Burden, Increase Availability, Enhance Safety, and Reduce Operational & Support (O&S) Costs. 

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, with excellent communication skills, providing full-time on-site contractor support for planning, developing, and training program execution and will be engaged in Project Management/Data Analysis for the Army Aviation Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) Program and Processes to improve future training programs.
