AVNIK is seeking a Mid/Senior level highly motivated, creative, and organized Computer Science (CS) programmer with a focus on immersive technologies and related gaming experience in software development for systems optimization, data reuse, and sustainment. 

The successful candidate will turn customer requirements into code in a fast moving environment. You will be involved in various aspects of game creations from concept to finished product including coding, programming, human-machine interface (with several different peripherals), audio and design.  Ability to work within a team is crucial.

Candidates must clearly express ideas/concepts verbally and in writing, perform as part of multi-disciplinary teams/IPTs/Working Groups, and operate fluidly in a multi-tasking environment.  Ability to work under strict time frames to meet both internal and external deadlines and customer expectations. Must be able to manage own work and be able to balance multiple tasks and adapt quickly to new processes.

Position requires that candidate successfully complete Background Investigation requirements and obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.

AMCOM G3 Aviation CBM+ Training and Logistics Management Specialist

Overview: 

AVNIK Defense Solutions, Inc., is a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), located in Huntsville, AL, who delivers systems engineering and integration, software/hardware development, logistics management, programmatic services, training systems management, and test and evaluation support for the development, modification, fielding and sustainment of military equipment and systems.  We have an immediate requirement for an Army Aviation Logistics/Training Development and Management Specialist.

Summary:

The Army Aviation Logistics/Training Development and Management Specialist serves as a support contractor to plan, develop, and execute Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) training in support of the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) G3 Maintenance (M) and the Continued Airworthiness and Materiel Readiness Division (CAMRD).  Coordinates and develops CBM and CBM+ training and manages training integration, schedule, and performance metrics to ensure US Army Aviation CBM+ is properly trained, resourced, integrated, tested, and sustained.  Supports programmatic requirements for technical and logistics development, planning, coordination, integration, testing, and monitoring of CBM Systems to reduce Solider Burden, Increase Availability, Enhance Safety, and Reduce Operational & Support (O&S) Costs. 

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, with excellent communication skills, providing full-time on-site contractor support for planning, developing, and training program execution and will be engaged in Project Management/Data Analysis for the Army Aviation Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) Program and Processes to improve future training programs.

Tactical Air Traffic Services Systems Capabilities Development and Analytics Subject Matter Expert

Summary:  

AVNIK is seeking a senior-level subject matter expert to provide subject matter expertise, analytical services, and support to TCM-AB for development of Aviation ATS Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documentation, and system integration, in order to document current, midterm and future capabilities requirements.

The successful candidate will understand Army Aviation capability needs and gaps for Tactical Air Traffic Services Systems and assess their impact on future operations as described in the Army Capstone Concept, Army Operational Concept, Functional Concepts and related/directed CBA/CNAs is a specialized skill set developed only through experience.

Enterprise Systems Engineer - US Secret Clearance Required

Summary:

AVNIK is seeking a high-level Enterprise Systems Engineer with a BS degree or related technical field and 8+ years’ related experience with system design, software development, modeling and/or testing, and MS SQL databases.  This position will provide systems engineering support to the US Army’s Aircraft Notebook (ACN) system and other automated aviation projects.  The successful candidate must be a self-starter and able to work with little supervision. The Systems Engineer is responsible for monitoring and guiding the engineering effort to integrate existing software programs with enterprise level applications such as the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).  The candidate will perform system engineering tasks for high availability software intensive systems. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing system level requirements, coordinating development efforts between different organizations, developing operational systems concepts, resolving data model and business logic differences between systems, originating design concepts, and maintaining responsibility for end-to-end systems engineering life-cycle activities including integration, testing, deployment and maintenance.

Demonstrated leadership, and the ability to establish and maintain close relationships with internal PM Aviation Systems personnel as well as external organizations and stakeholders, are essential. Candidates must clearly express ideas/concepts verbally and in writing, perform as part of multi-disciplinary teams/IPTs/Working Groups, and operate fluidly in a multi-tasking environment.
