Senior Provisioning Analyst - US Citizenship Required

Location: Huntsville, AL, Redstone Arsenal

Schedule: Full Time

Job Description: AVNIK is seeking Senior Provisioning Analyst with 8+ year experience to support the current and evolving Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) at Redstone Arsenal.

As a member of our Provisioning team, you'll interface with the customer and be charged with performing analysis for the US Army. You’ll use your interpersonal skills to develop lasting relationships with internal AMCOM personnel as well as external organizations and PM stakeholders.

The position will include collaboration within a team environment while emphasizing individual contributions to produce products that are valuable to the customer. Candidates must have good people skills and the desire to work with a highly technical team of functional experts. Adept at developing requirements from customer feedback and communicate requirements.

Education Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of an accredited Bachelors of Science (BS) or similar degree field and a minimum of 8 Years' experience. Advanced degree a plus. High School and 6+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of education for Analyst position. NOTE: 3 years’ experience = BS.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Self-starter that can work with limited supervision and guidance
  • Experience with Blackhawk A/L/M/V aircraft systems.
  • Knowledgeable of equipment requirements, policies, and procedures as they pertain to assigned system or subsystem requirements.
  • Knowledgeable of, database maintenance and the interfaces with LMP, WebFLIS, FedLog, PowerlogJ2, EDIS, WebDesk, LSA-030 and LSA-036 Reports and other functions for assigned equipment.
  • Interfaces with PowerLOG-J and defense integrated data systems activities to create and process National Stock Number (NSN) requests and related maintenance activities associated with item identification and compatibility.
  • Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and publications change requests for impact to maintenance concepts/philosophies.
  • DA Form 2028s and other related correspondence
  • Strong verbal and written skills to support interaction with customers:
    • Lead meetings and document meetings minutes
    • Capture and track action items to closure, and writing reports, etc.
    • Develop courses of action, briefings, and present customer briefings
  • Ability to perform as part of multi-disciplinary Aviation team/IPT/Working Groups
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite programs, advanced knowledge and use of Excel and Desk Top Computer to provide charts, graphs, data analysis and technical/engineering inputs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and reporting practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to clearly express ideas/concepts in discussions and written documents and to deliver regular updates and feedback clearly and tactfully.
  • US Citizenship and US SECRET Clearance

 

Duties:

  • Has the technical responsibility to develop, revise, and maintain data for maintenance publications.
  • Develops technical data which is the source of provisioning, RPSTL and other equipment publications and maintenance programs.
  • Reviews engineering drawings and compare the contents in the text to provide guidance on capturing information for all procedural requirements that are incorporated in the technical content for UH-60 Helicopters.
  • Conducts research on various modification component Installation Manuals comparing parts and equipment listed in the document provided to the HH/UH60 Technical Data Division for accuracy when compared to engineer drawings by using various information systems and regulations.
  • Evaluates Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and publications change requests for impact to maintenance concepts/philosophies.
  • Investigates and furnishes replies to DA Form 2028s and other related correspondence.
  • Responsible for all initial and follow on provisioning of new and established items, to include assistance and service to supply personnel, relative to interchangeability and substitutability of parts.
  • Reviews, evaluates, accepts and/or rejects the provisioning data from OEM and contractors.
  • Verifies publications and provisioning data at contractor/government sites to ensure adequacy of technical contents.
  • Investigates, analyzes and takes action to correct equipment deficiencies reported by equipment users.
  • Attends informal review of Installation Manuals with contracted writers, to provide feedback and red-line changes.
  • Has the technical responsibility to develop, revise, and maintain data for maintenance publications.

 

Experience with:

  • Aviation aircraft/major weapon system maintenance, recognition and readiness
  • Acquisition and/or sustainment logistics
  • Review/analyze technical data received from vendors/OEM
